HAWAII COMMUNITY
CAREGIVER NETWORK
Supporting family caregivers in West Hawaii since 1996
It takes a whole community to care for our caregivers.
This Caregiver Conference page shows a bit of our history. We are currently collaborating with our friends at AARP Hawaii to present an annual Caregiver Breakfast in November, which focuses on topics which interest the most caregivers, and includes an extensive resource fair. This event is featured in the slide show on the Home Page. Like all our activities, the Caregiver Breakfast is totally staffed by volunteers from the community, except our professional speakers who often come from Honolulu to speak with us.
Please contact us to join our email list, and we'll let you know about upcoming events. Mahalo.
The 2019 family caregiver conference took place on Thursday, September 19 under sunny Kona skies, at the beautiful Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa. Many caregivers attended and took part in workshops and discussions, dined on excellent food, and enjoyed each other's company.
